Late last week, Salem ASC held its Open House and celebrated the reintroduction of local healthcare to Salem County. After going nearly 10 years without a surgery center in the area, residents will have an ambulatory surgical center that provides quality, affordable care right in their neighborhood.
Offering Anesthesiology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Pediatric Dentistry, Spine & Neurosurgery services, Salem ASC is a newly renovated, state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center located adjacent to the Salem Medical Center. Home to 3 Operation Rooms and state-of-the-art technology, Salem ASC has the ability to provide safe, high-quality, patient-focused care for same-day surgeries.
Those in attendance were given tours by the Salem ASC Management team to see the facilities and equipment up close. Attendees included several members from real estate development company, CHA Partners. Salem ASC’s Administrator, Georgie Maxwell; the Director of Nursing, Kim Miskowic; and the Medical and Anesthesia Director, Mehrdad Rafizadeh, MD; along with the rest of the Salem ASC Management team have worked tirelessly in order to bring local and empathetic healthcare back to Salem County.
